Makhana Namkeen Recipe / Masala Makhana Recipe with step by step pics and a short Youtube video. If you like my video, please SUBSCRIBE to my channel. Phool makhana or foxnuts or popped lotus seeds is very low fat, healthy-protein rich, light and airy seeds, which can be used to prepare a variety of dry snack, namkeen and sabji etc. It is an ideal snack during the Navratri Fast and guilt-free snack as it is not deep-fried. You can make it in a large batch, store it in an airtight container and munch anytime during the fast. I have already shared a savoury version of it, Roasted Phool Makhana Recipe, if interested, check it.
