I have shared a simple method of storing the curry leaves for a long time, just rinse the leaves, dry until moisture-free, then store it in an airtight container, it lasts for more than 10 days. The same method can be followed to store mint leaves and coriander leaves but it stays good for 5 to 6 days only. Notes

Tips for how to store curry leaves in the fridge

1. Select fresh, mature, and dark green-colored curry leaves.
2. Remove the curry leaves from the main stem only and not the subsidiary stems.
3. Pick and discard any old, pale, or shrunken leaves before going to the rinsing process.
4. Always rinse the curry leaves 3 to 4 times to remove any dirt or sand.
5. Press the curry leaves gently and let them sit in the colander for 10 minutes, so the excess water gets drained easily.
6. Use a cotton cloth or kitchen tissue to dry the curry leaves. Also, spread it one by one, else the leaves would have stuck with each other.
7. Suggested drying time is at least 2 hours to a maximum of 3 hours.
8. To quicken the drying process, pat dry the curry leaves using another kitchen cloth.
9. Never dry the curry leaves on the balcony under sunlight, but you can dry it inside the house under the fan.
10. Use a clean airtight container or box to store the curry leaves. But ensure the moisture is absorbed well before storing it. If moisture is there it will get spoiled soon.
11. Always spread a tissue or small cotton cloth in the container and then put the curry leaves. Never place them directly, if there is any moisture by chance, the leaves get spoilt.
12. In this method, the curry leaves stay good in the fridge for 10 + days. After using them,  put them back soon inside the fridge, especially during summer.
