Chana Dal Sundal Recipe / Kadalai Paruppu Sundal Recipe with step by step pictures. This sundal is usually prepared during Ganesh Utsav or Navaratri and it doesn’t need much soaking time like other Black Channa Sundal or Chickpea Sundal, just 2 or 3 hours is enough. I cooked the chana dal in an open pot, so it retains the shape well but you can pressure cook too for 2 whistles, as it makes the work completed easily. Not only during the festival time, but you can also give this protein-rich sundal as an evening snack too for your kids.
