According to me, the carrot is a superfood, when introducing to solid diet as it has all the essential nutrients for growth. It helps to improve the eyesight, a good remedy for intestinal worms and relieves from constipation too. Carrots can be fed to babies from 6+ months, as it will be easy to digest, but puree it till smooth and ensure there are no chunks, else it may lead to choking hazard to your baby. Always, consult your baby’s paediatrician before giving carrots due to the nitrate content may be dangerous, so never feed carrots for babies under 6 months.
