Orange creamsicle is a thick beverage made from raw or frozen fruits like orange and banana, blended with other ingredients. It can also be called as a smoothie with Vitamin C enriched. This smoothie is a great way to fill up your body with vitamins and minerals. Also it tastes so yummy with a flavour of orange zest and looks so bright and appetizing. The acidity in orange is balanced by the banana with added vanilla extract which gives a final touch and makes it a filling and a wholesome breakfast.
Method 1. Peel the skin of banana and orange. Chop it and get ready with the ingredients. Add orange to the mixer and blend it till smooth. Now add banana. 2. Pour milk, add sugar, vanilla essence and ice cubes. Blend it again till smooth and frothy. Serve it chilled.
1. For more smoothness, you can freeze the banana and orange for 2 days, before use thaw it and use. 2. For variation and nutritional value, you can add carrot also. But for perfect orange creamsicle carrot is not added. 3. You can substitute milk with coconut milk or almond milk for more creaminess.
4. For a twist you can add a little bit of orange skin while blending.
